What a site! What more could you ask for - peace & quite, clean toilets & showers (albeit a bit basic), plenty of space and a PUB! Kelvin, Janet and Baz are so friendly and make you feel welcome the moment you step foot onto the grass (which needs cutting by the way ha ha).

With Holbeach only approx 4 miles down the road with Tesco's and various other shops, this site is worthy of a visit - a good base to explore the surrounding areas or just to chill out with a pint (or two!).

A trip down to the wash and the RAF bombing range is a must see and there is a great shop on the way which serves hot breakfast baps & tea / coffee.

This is a very subversive establishment.

Be aware that, having arrived, it is very difficult to leave and our overnight stay became three. The overwhelming friendliness of both staff and customers is the main cause of this. No effort was spared to ensure we had everything we needed.

The pub has reasonable food reasonably priced. We can recommend the meat puddings, also the excellent naked salad(!) They keep a good pint, it's an Elgoods house.

Outside the field is largely flat, there is access to power and water. The outside toilet / shower block was spartan but clean. The inside toilets were very clean and had been recently redecorated.

Bicycles are very useful, the pub is remote and the nearest shop and other pubs are several miles away.
