We found this pub online when looking for a convenient rendezvous for lunch between Watton and Sleaford

We struck lucky, with a warm welcome, including an open fire and excellent food at very reasonable prices. The Aberdeen Angus cottage pie was really tasty and the desserts were delicious and a bit different. Good beer and a nice bottle of wine. Recommended and we will come again if we are in the area

  1. We have just recently stayed at this site (July 2011) the staff were fantastic and very welcoming, couldn't do enough for us. The location was wonderful and the pub was great. One draw back was the toilet block. The showers were fab as in the hot water and good flow but the toilet block in general was disgusting and not kept very clean! Apart from that a fantastic site!
